Off Grid is GRIDWRKS’ Saturday event series and has become a platform for a wide range of Ottawa electronic DJs, giving both established and emerging local artists opportunities to perform in a main-room club environment.
One of Ottawa’s longest-running electronic music event series, White Rabbit has consistently showcased local DJ culture and helped provide a platform for multiple generations of Ottawa artists, including veteran DJ Rick Laplante, whose career spans more than 40 years.

Plantains & Caviar is an Ottawa event series celebrating Black and Pan-African electronic music, culture and community. Its programming connects the cultural roots and evolution of sounds including Afrobeat, Amapiano, House, Gqom, Dancehall, Baile Funk, UKG and Jungle, creating a space centred on community, cultural expression and dance music. Its inclusion brings an important additional perspective to the CxMW series and highlights the diversity of communities and musical influences shaping Ottawa’s nightlife.
